   What We Do:    Internship Programme

An international internship program was initiated in 2007 with Saint Mary’s University, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The interns join HFG for 3-6 months, gaining valuable experience in the field and in the office.

A local internship drive began in 2007 to give Ghanaian senior high school graduates the opportunity to acquire job skills prior to continuing their education.

Cholera - A Severe And Infectious Disease

Overview
Cholera is a severe infectious disease which occurs in Ghana and other tropical countries. It is occasionally experienced in temperate climates.  It is an infection of the small intestine caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. This bacteria was discovered in 1883 by a German Physician and bacteriologist called Robert Koch.
