What We Do:    Malaria Control Programme

Worldwide, Sub-Saharan Africa has the greatest problem with malaria. Twenty percent of childhood deaths in Africa are caused by the effects of malaria, and on average children get the disease between two to five times per year.

Our Malaria Programme focuses on Advocacy and Education as well as the Provision of Insecticide Treated nets:

  • Educating the public on preventive measures against malaria.
  • Providing insecticide-treated nets to community people with an emphasis on pregnant women and children under ten years old.
