The Foundation currently through its focal persons, has over 30 small-scale projects aimed at solving health problems in specific districts.

ACTIVE PROJECTS
	Educational/Counsel and Awareness Programme to reduce the incidence of Teenage Pregrancy and HIV/AIDS at Nkanfoa in Cape coast, Central Region.
	Malaria Prevention and Control Programme at Nkanfoa in Cape coast, Central Region.
	Environmental Sanitation/Clean-up Campaign at Nkanfoa in Cape coast, Central Region.
	An Educational programme to reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancy at New Edubiase in Ashanti Region.
	An Educational/Counselling Programme to reduce the high degree of ignorance on HIV/AIDS in New Edibiase Secondary School in New Edubiase - Ashanti Region.
	Educational programme to reduce the high rate of drop outs from Methodist and Local Authority at Menso Atwere due pregnancy resulting from ignorance, with poverty and poor parental care in Manse Nkwanta-Ashanti Region.
	Educational programme to control Schistomiasis in Yawkrom, Amansie West District - Ashanti Region.
	Educational Programme to reduce the incidence of Buruli Ulcer in Tontokrom - Ashanti Region.
	Formation of Youth Club at Manso Secondary School to address the problem of Adolescence Sex and Drug Abuse in Amansie West, Ashanti.
	Reduction of Malaria infestation at Manso Nkwanta, Amansie West District through an education on adoption of proper sanitation methods.
	Educational Campaign on Buruli Ulcer in Manso Nkwanta in Amansie West - Ashanti Region.
	Educational Programme on the Control of Bilharzia in Apinkra - Ashanti Region.
	Malaria control at Manso Atwere Methodist Community B at Amansie West.
	Educational Programme to improve personal hygiene among 30 Teenagers in Manso Atwere in the Amansie West District.
	Educational programme to reduce the high incidence of Bilharzia among teenagers in Apinkra in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region.
	An income generating project for rural women to enable them engage in profitable ventures to enhance their economic status.
	Reduction of high incidence of Malnutrition among children between 1-9in the Manso Atwere Community in the Ashanti Region.
	Training of 30 girls and capitalising them to produce mushroom, honey and snails as means of reducing the incidence of teenage pregnancy in Manso Atwere.
	Concept of women's empowerment being initiated by Timiari - Tama Rural Women to uplift the living standards of old women labelled as witches and incarcerated at a settlement called "The Gambaga Old Women's Home" in the Northern Region.
	Micro credit revolving fund for 15 women in Nyohini Community of the Northern Region.
	Malaria Management project at Abakrampa in the Central Region
	Educational and counselling programme on HIV/AIDS at Abakrampa in the Central Region.
	Environmental sanitation project at Abakrampa in the Central Region.


	SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
	An Educational/Counselling Programme as well as an income generating project to reduce the incidence of Teenage Pregnancy at Pakyi in the Ashanti Region.
	STD's and HIV/AIDS youth to youth peer education in Nyohini.
	Organisation of monthly clean up campaigns with women groups and digging of Soak aways in Changni a suburb of Tamale to improve environmental sanitation and create awareness on Malaria.
	An Educational programme to reduce the high incidence of death among children and adults of Zangu community in the Northern Region resulting from CSM.
	Provision of Portable water (hand dug) and Health Education at Kpeni in the Tamale Municipality.
	The use of topical phenytoin in the treatment of Buruli Ulcers.
	The use of phenytoin in the treatment of high blood pressure.
	The use of phenytoin in the treatment of non-specific ulcers.
	The incidence of adolescent pregnancy a case study from Ashanti Region this lead to the setting up of a Teen Clinic in Oforikrom, Kumasi.
	An assessment of the level of awareness of Breast Cancer in Ghana, which resulted in the setting up of Mammocare, a breast cancer awareness centre.
	The prevalence of malnutrition among children, pregnant and lactating mothers in AsiakumaOdoben-Brakwa District, which lead to the development of a Food weight/Handy Measure Booklet.
	The prevalence of hearing problems amongst children: Identification and Management in Awutu-Efutu-Senya-Kasoa-Bawjiase sub-district.
	Radio Health Programmes in Koforidua and Cape Coast Municipalities aimed at educating the public on health issues.
	Training of health professionals and workers in tuberculosis management and safe Motherhood clinical protocols.
	Health Awareness programmes organised for various groups; hairdressers, dressmakers, auto-mechanics and drinking bar operators.
	A pilot Adult Learnership Programme in Cape Coast District organised for participants from the travel and tourism industry. This formed part of the Foundation's poverty alleviation programme of the Cape Coast Initiative.
	Book Donation: Health hocks were donated to the Ghana Education Service in the Cape Coast Municipality to be distributed to some selected schools to support and help improve School Health Programmes in the municipality.
